How this site handles your files and settings.
Your images stay on your device
Images and PDFs are opened and processed locally in your browser. PixFinish does not upload your images, filenames, recipes or editing settings for processing. Your working images remain in memory during the session and are not saved by the app between visits. Download your results before closing or refreshing the page.
Storage you control
When you save a recipe, its settings are stored in your browser without photograph or logo pixels. The colour theme follows your device by default; you can choose Light or Dark at any time. Theme preferences are saved only if you choose Remember theme. Completed tours and guide-prompt preferences are also stored locally so the same introduction does not keep appearing. Downloads are saved wherever your browser places them. Browser caches may retain website code, fonts, sample images and the background-removal model.
Website requests and hosting
Your browser downloads the files needed to run the website. The hosting service may keep standard access logs, including IP addresses and browser details. These website requests do not contain the images you open in the workspace.
Removing saved data
You can delete saved recipes in the Saved recipes page. To clear saved preferences and other website data, use your browser’s site-data settings. Clearing website data does not delete images you have already downloaded to your device.
